NINE BIG QUESTIONS SCHOOLS MUST ANSWER TO AVOID GOING BACK TO NORMAL, BECAUSE "NORMAL" WASN"T THAT GREAT TO BEGIN WITH...

Reviewing the new e-Book by Homa Tavangar and Will Richardson

March 3, 2021 - 8:00AM EST

Based on the new ebook written by Big Questions Institute co-founders Will Richardson and Homa Tavangar, this conversation will challenge leaders to consider how, despite the exhaustion, now is the perfect time to ask whether the learning environments our students need today are the same as the ones schools offered them pre-pandemic.

The AAIE NEW SCHOOL PROJECT:  SEVEN PRINCIPLES

With Homa Tavangar, Kevin Bartlett and Will Richardson

Fridays at 8:00 AM ET

THIS WEEK FOR THE NEW SCHOOL PROJECT: As the New School Project team looks to the future, we spent last Friday's session thinking about ways that we might support AAIE schools (and others) to bring our principles to life in their communities. We discussed a number of different ideas including the writing of a playbook, engaging students to help identify supportive projects, and creating a continuum that would help frame a path forward. Although last week was supposed to be the final week of discussions, we will be meeting one more time this Friday to bring our ideas into clearer relief and to organize groups to begin developing and creating. Along with an overview of the NSP, these creations will be shared at the AAIE conference in April. Please join us next week to share your ideas and to sign on to a development group!

ONE MORE LOOK... How the Pandemic Will Unfold in the Months Ahead

Our AAIE CONVERSATIONS continued this past Wednesday's seminar led by American School of Warsaw's Director Jon Zurfluh and Dr. Jarek Oleszczuk (Dr. "O"). It proved to be a tour de force of critical information about our future with the coronavirus (and variants) and  approaches to keep our community safe. Recommended for trustees and your school community.
