Dr. Ernest Mannino International Superintendent of the Year Award

Given the extraordinary circumstances and challenges Heads of Schools and their leadership teams continue to grapple with in 2020, the selection committee would be hard pressed to select just one individual to receive this award. Each and every one of you has gone above and well beyond the scope of this award in advancing international education by keeping your school communities safe and healthy and in nimbly being able to pivot between in person learning and virtual learning often doing both in the course of a single day. As it proves impossible to select just one worthy recipient, the Board of Trustees agrees that this award will be tabled for 2020. This year, under the most adverse global conditions ever faced, we acknowledge, applaud and honor all Heads of School, Superintendents and their leadership teams for staying the course in these unprecedented times, leading with inspiration and integrity to create sustainable change that positively impacts international education.
