Write for InterEd

Requirements

InterEd solicits original articles up to 2500 words for a Featured Research piece and 1000-1500 (average is generally between 500 to 1000) words for a Featured Conversation or Best Practices piece. We welcome practical ideas as well as more theoretical approaches related to international education, leadership, diversity, learning, and technology in schools. School management and curriculum leadership behavior with respect to the foregoing topics are significant focuses of this publication.

Articles should be submitted electronically as MS Word files. Photos and other graphic illustrations should either be in GIF, PDF, PNG, or JPEG formats. All tables should be formatted using the table tool (no tabs please). All submissions should be preceded by a header containing the title of the manuscript, the name(s) of the author(s), any affiliations, mail, and e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers. As much as possible, manuscripts should conform to the style set forth in the Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association. The required font is 12 pt. Times New Roman. Submissions should be fully justified and single-spaced. In addition, please add engaging headers to lead off each new paragraph of thought content to enhance and encourage the reader.

The Editors may decline to consider a manuscript for several reasons, including poor preparation, an insufficiently clear and detailed presentation, or a lack of adherence to the journal's guidelines for manuscript preparation. The Editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts, and reasonably edit or tailor submissions as space permits. The Editors will seek authorial approval for major changes in substance or structure of submissions. Manuscripts and articles submitted to InterED may not be simultaneously submitted to other publications. Authors are free to do this with the permission of the Editor of InterED or after the article has been returned to the author as unpublishable. InterEd does not publish reprints from other publications. Authors who violate this restriction will not be eligible to make future submissions to the journal.
