2024 Award

Innovative Leadership Award: 2024

2024 Award Winner: Marjorie C. Bouscayrol Quevedo

The 2024 Dr. Keith Miler Innovation Award has been determined by the AAIE Board of Trustees, and this year we are honored to be giving this prestigious award to Marjorie C. Bouscayrol Quevedo, the Board of Trustees Chair at Colegio Maya, in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

This is the first time the Dr. Keith Miller Innovation award has been given to a board member, yet Marjorie C. Bouscayrol Quevedo has proven that innovation and hard work can be done at all levels within a school. Upon taking the role of Board Chair, Ms. Bouscayrol quickly became a master student of Board Governance and best practices. Rather than rely on the past work of previous chairs, she dove deep into realigning the system to make meetings more efficient, strategy focused and at the same time accessible for all community members. Her training and background as an attorney has led to the creation of much more clear communications, processes for the community.
