May 31, 2019 F3 Friday's Five Ideas for the Future What to Watch for in This Week's F3
Where do you start when commencing a meaningful leadership journey? Excerpted from Richard Sheridan's book, Chief Joy Officer, it begins with the question? "Whom do you serve?"
Blogs are an important medium for your school, but knowing just what to blog about isn't always a simple task. Mia Major from Finalsite offers some ideas. Want to know someone who doesn't have that problem? David Willows, one of AAIE's featured bloggers. Take a look at his latest entry on School Advancement.
Lastly and most importantly, we end with a 2012 interview of Dick Krajczar with the Leadership Project. Please take a moment to view below the upcoming opportunities to celebrate Dick's life.
Quotes of the Week
"Trust is forever, you break it, you're done."
-Dick Krajczar
"You don't want to hire people who are clones of you. Instead, it's best to hire educators who are better than you...you have to listen to them and trust the people you've hired to do their job."
-Dick Krajczar

"ACS Amman Invites You to A Celebration of the Life of Dr. K"
ACS Richard Krajczar Activities Center - Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 4:00pm
Dick Krajczar had a significant impact on the growth and development of ACS Amman, Jordan during his tenure as Superintendent from 1979-1989. He facilitated the first accreditation visit, he facilitated the government liaison work to allow Jordanians to attend ACS, he was responsible for planning and implementing the construction of the Arts Center/gym, started the tradition, which continues today, of having graduation at the ancient Roman city of Jerash, and he worked with the Amman Municipality, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Social Development to get proper licensing for the school.
Dr. K was a long-standing member and long time President of NESA. Given his contributions to ACS, and to international schools over the last 40 years, the ACS Board of Trustees has agreed to name the facility he helped build in his honor.
