Dear Trustees,

  • FEBRUARY BOARD MEETING:  Our February/Winter board meeting is scheduled for Thursday morning (8:30AM) at the Hyatt BOARDROOM B.  For your travel plans, the meeting should end prior to lunch.
  • AGENDA MATERIALS:  Jeff, Kevin and I will ensure you have the Feb. board meeting agenda materials at least one-week prior to February 7.
  • AAIE 2019 CONFERENCE DASHBOARD:  When we last reported to you (December 31) our conference enrollment stood at 317.  As of today, it is 384.  We're working the data to ensure a match between hotel reservations and conference registration.  Claiming no victory yet, but reporting considerable improvement. Revenues already exceed budget (sponsorships have helped) and hotel expenses are a scooch below budget.  We've more than met anticipated surplus for the conference.   CLICK HERE for a larger version of the dashboard displayed below.  Conference financial history is also shared with you.
  • We still want to exceed 400 participants and continue this work. Just wanted you aware that financially we're effectively funding this year's budget.
  • MAY 2019 BOARD MEETING: Looking ahead, we are meeting in Princeton at the new AAIE offices on May 10-11, 2019.  Full day on Friday and until 3:00PM on Saturday.  We will arrange hotel reservations at the Hyatt Regency Hotel which is a stone's throw away from the AAIE office.  Please ensure that we receive your travel itinerary.  I recommend you fly into Newark Liberty International, then take the NJTransit train into Princeton.  I'll pick you up at Princeton Junction.
  • A FIRST PEEK!:  Thought you might like to have a look at this year's AAIE International Leadership Learning CONVERSATION program.  It is at the printer now, but we have the final pdf version to share with you.  We've tried to make it a good read, highlighting our strategic thinking and even to make it a bit of a keepsake.  See what you think. All Good Wishes,
