And Finally... The holiday season and the New Year are upon us. As you make your plans to celebrate with family and friends, keep in mind it doesn't take a holiday on the calendar to cause one to sing to the stars because of what we do and who we are. Celebrating the small victories in our schools, the unheralded acts of kindness or the light bulb going on for a student are reasons to dance with abandon. Thanks to you.
And here at AAIE we cheer for you because it is your leadership and plain hard work that are a gift to so many. And not unlike the holiday in the coming weeks, it is our February 2-6, 2019 Conference Conversation that will provide a place to be with good friends–new and old– all of us, returning home together.
As you travel in the coming weeks, be careful out there, and come back to your school community safe and sound.
On behalf of our AAIE Board of Trustees– All Good Wishes,
Mark
