Dear AAIE Members

AAIE and the Friends of Margaret Sanders are happy to congratulate the following four students on being chosen to each receive a $4000 scholarship for their 2018-19 year of University.

The selection committee received over 30 Applications this year from highly qualified and accomplished students attending member schools from our Regional Association Members. The top finalists this year came from the regions of AASSA, AISA, ECIS, EARCOS and NESA. We thank all of the school counselors, principals and teachers that provided the support needed for these students to advance in the process.

Awards will be presented to the winning student's Head of School  and the related Regional Association Executive Director on behalf of each student during the 52nd AAIE International Leadership Conference & Expo in New York City in early February 2018.

Margaret Sanders

Margaret Sanders

Margaret Sanders' career with Walsworth Publishing Company began in 1961, where during the subsequent four decades she traveled the world assisting schools with the publication of their yearbooks. This exciting career afforded her the opportunity to develop a close identification with overseas "American/International" schools and their diverse and interesting populations. Mrs. Sanders established this scholarship fund to "give back" to the community that gave her so many exciting opportunities and personal rewards.

The Margaret Sanders Scholarship continue to fund educational opportunities for members of the overseas schools community that she found and enjoyed within our AAIE Global Family.

Applications for the 2018-19 year will be available in August 2018 on the AAIE website.
