We value our Affiliate Member Exhibitors and are pleased to provide this list of tips and ideas to help you and your organization optimize your time at this year's event. To some, these ideas will be second nature, but out of our commitment to support your making the most of your time, we hope they help.

 Before the Conference Check List:

  • Update your profile in the App!  (requires computer)
  • Update your personal profile (requires a mobile)
  • Secure Advertising in the program app/conference bag/printed program - Final Days!
  • Download the Conference App and begin to connect with attendees prior to the event and to schedule face-to-face meetings.  Email to arrive shortly and you have to check the email on your device you will bring.  App available this week.
  • Check your email for VIP access to update your profile on the AAIE Conference App.  Send an email to derek@aaie.org if you did not receive this email.
  • Exhibitor Table Top Forms: These are important to ensure the hotel can best support you. Due Thursday 25 January to the hotel
  • Have you mailed your Bag Swag (complimentary) or paper insert (fee) to the hotel?  These must be at the Marriott by 1 February.
  • Create and print one page message to leave on your exhibit tables for when you are away.  Include your photo, contact info of how to reach you at the event (Include your WhatsApp Number), and include a small box for people to leave you a message.
  • Connect with your current satisfied clients and confirm they are attending the AAIE 52nd.  Set up a time to reconnect at the event and see if they would be willing to introduce you to some of their colleagues.
  • When creating your materials, handouts, or resources, remember to keep in mind that all of our attendees have to fit everything into their suitcase and in many cases travel halfway around the world to get home. Keep things simple, useful, and memorable. Your job is to make theirs easier.
  • Remember that although school heads often have the final decision- making power, it is usually guided by their teams.  Consider making simple resources they can easily share with their business managers, principals, or the staff most likely to benefit from your products or services.

Affiliate Member Exhibitors Schedule

The full Conference schedule will be available in the AAIE conference app.

Please review the Exhibitor Conference Schedule.

The goal of this schedule is to help you maximize your time while at this year's event.   We have highlighted when attendees will most likely be in the exhibitor hall and other key sessions and events you may want to attend.  We have also included some other tips to help support your networking during and after the event.  Please check back for changes!

As I am sure you all know, some of the best networking happens outside of the exhibit hall. Use the above schedule to plan out your time at this year's event.

Additional Exhibitor Tips

  • In addition to the above, review the program and see what session you want to attend. Identify what topics are most likely to draw the people who will benefit from your product or services.
  • If you have more than one person attending, divide and conquer. Decide who will attend what session and when.
  • Create and print a one-page message to leave on your exhibit table for when you are away.  Include your photo, contact info of how to reach you at the event (Include your WhatsApp Number), and include a small box for people to leave you a message.
  • Keep in mind that for many Heads this event is one of the only times they have the opportunity to connect and relax with peers. You will win points by understanding and honoring this. Many people have been successful by making a quick and memorable in person connection and then setting a time to speak in more detail with them and their teams via Skype after they return to their schools.
  • Remember that although school heads often have the final decision- making power, it is usually guided by their teams.  Consider making simple resources they can easily share with their business managers, principles, or the staff most likely to benefit from your products or services.

After the Conference

  • Follow-up with any clients or connections
  • Remember people are traveling. You may want to consider waiting a week before following up to give them time to settle back into their daily routine.
  • Connect via LinkedIn to everyone you met.
  • Produce an article that school leaders would value based on your area of expertise (check with Yolanda for ideas/ publishing dates)
  • Create a Tips or Resources document
  • Sign up for an Affiliate Member Spotlight (published in the newsletters or on our website) - Contact: Roddia@aaie.org
  • Continue to find ways to be a valued resource to the connections you made.  Share articles, resources, and help connect them to people and information that will help make their jobs easier.
