What we do

As the leading international recruitment organization for international schools, every year we assist over 3,000 teachers and administrators secure positions at top international schools globally. Our nearly 800 member schools are located in 125 countries and provide opportunities for educators interested in furthering their career overseas in high quality schools, teaching a variety of curricula, and offering rich professional development opportunities. We are known for our commitment to providing personalized support to both our candidates and member schools.

As a Search candidate, you are assigned your own Associate who will answer all your questions and work with you over the course of your international career and international journey with SEARCH. We call this our Personal Touch because your Associate gets to know you as a person and your unique professional needs and aspirations. Our Associates, located in 20+ offices around the world, are experts—most served as heads of school – and each brings decades of experience in the field of international education to his or her candidates.

Since our founding, we have helped schools and school boards identify, evaluate, and appoint over 800 exceptional leaders for their schools. Our leadership search team consists of former heads of leading international schools with regional expertise covering every part of the globe. This expertise and the experience that they represent have enabled us to connect great schools with great leaders time after time over the past 30 years. Our team, with a combined international school experience of 250 years also provides consulting services in a variety of school operations.
