Princenetters and various others - Thanks to those of you who responded to my query on MS Grading and Assessment
policy/philosophy. It seems there are not a whole lot of schools where this is an issue, or no one really has a great handle on it...I heard back from only 4 schools. Cabby Tennis from Cairo sent me some things that we were able to use as we navigated our approach to the policy and philosophy. Thanks Cabby.

The process has been good for the staff and we have come close to formalizing both an assessment philosophy and a policy for improving consistency across the school through the use of a rubric to delineate grade indicators. You can look at these things (enclosed as Word documents) (***now PDF_site admin), trash them, use them, or respond with feedback.
