Dear AAIE Members,

As part of your school membership with AAIE, your students have unique opportunities to both apply for scholarships and join with other international students in leadership advancement activities.

Two new opportunities this year include the Margaret Sanders International Student Scholarship, now administered by AAIE and the AAIE/GIN Top 100 Global Citizens Student Leadership Challenge.

Margaret Sanders dedicated her life to advancing international schools through her work with Walsworth Publishing with a focus on helping students achieve their goals.   The Margaret Sanders Foundation was established to fund educational opportunities for members of the overseas schools community that she found within our AAIE family.

The many Regional Associations such as AASSA, CEESA and ECIS will continue to vet applications to ensure each region puts their best applicant forward for these prestigious scholarships. Students in Grade 12 (attending University next year) are eligible to apply.

AAIE has partnered with Global Issues Network and Nova Southeastern University to provide an important challenge for globally engaged student leaders to gather in Fort Lauderdale in the summer of 2018. Through this challenge, international student leaders will learn, teach, explore ideas and craft solutions for issues impacting their world.  Applications are open to students turning 16 prior to June, 2018. AAIE will provide a full scholarships for 2 students exhibiting financial need who submit exceptional applications for this honors service leadership event.

Please check HERE for more opportunities and scholarship information for your international students throughout the year!
